One of the more unique niceties of the Stapleton development is how it manages to bring back some of the qualities of life similar to what you might have found in the small towns and cities of America's yesteryear. A self-contained neighborhood Stapleton is accessible to shopping and services we all need in our daily lives. You'll be able to walk to stores, shops and restaurants from nearly anywhere within the Stapleton Development. At Stapleton, many homes and offices are within a ten-minute walk from one of five planned town centers. The town center (one of several planned) will be focused around a Founders' Green and a Main Street of two-to four-story buildings. Retail shops and restaurants will occupy the ground floors while the upper floors will consist of residential flats, townhomes, live/work lofts and offices. Over two million square-feet of regional shopping centers are planned for the development and the first center, Quebec Square, is open for business with new shops opening nearly every week.

East 29th Avenue Town Center
East 29th Avenue, Stapleton's first Town Center, will feature a full service King Soopers grocery store (anticipated opening date summer 2003), and a variety of neighborhood restaurants and stores providing coffee, dry cleaning, ice cream, banking and other daily needs. The Town Center will also include the Main Street Flats. Sixty-six one and two bedroom rental apartments in the Main Street Flats just above ground floor retail shops will be available in late 2003. The Main Street Office Suites will offer 34,000 square-feet of executive offices overlooking 29th Avenue, Stapleton's first Main Street. Main Street projects include the Town Square Building- a five-story office building bordering the north side of the Founders' Green. The Founders Green Apartments, over 200 one-, two-, and three-bedroom rental flats, townhomes and live/work lofts with attached garages just south of the Founders' Green. And the Clyburn at Stapleton a 100-unit affordable apartment homes development for seniors. A full service health club, drug store and a gas station are also in the works.
